So who am I?
My name is Kelly Rickard
I have always loved crafting and being artsy-fartsy. The possibilities are endless to be creative. Imagination is infinite. Walt Disney once said, "If you can dream it, you can do it."
In my "day job," I am a homeschool mom, wife to a hard working husband and a Cub Scout Leader. When I'm not creating, I'm reading Diana Gabaldon novels, spending time with good friends and planning our next travel adventure.
The day I married my Knight in shining pick up truck.
Inspiration To The Destination

Being silly and watching Shark Week
I started Kelly's Papercutz in 2020. Initially as a gift I made for my sister. It was a 3d color paper art. From there, that unique gift turned into more requests for paper cut art, to eventually, making 3D lighted shadowboxes. And I was hooked. I love the ambiance they give. The creative possibilities are endless.
The majority of my inspiration comes from my son. He has an expansive imagination that I just love. (Mommy, make a T Rex riding a shark!) Other sources are nature, landscapes, photographs I see, and sometimes my mood.
